Manufacturer's Warranties
All Card printers have a standard two year manufacturer's warranty starting at the time of purchase along with the On Call Express loaner printer warranty for the first year. (This excludes physical damage to the printhead surface) The On Call Express Loaner Program states that if your printer problem cannot be resolved over the phone, Fargo will send one to you to use for free during the warranty repair. This can be upgraded for two additional years. Please keep your receipt as verification of the warranty start date. These warranties cover everything except for printhead damages incurred by physical contact. This is caused by dirt build up in the printer rollers, dirty cards, cards with rough edges or jewelry on the hands or wrist coming in contact with the printhead. (Most printheads cost $699 to replace, legacy printer printheads $799) Other physical abuse to the printer including shipping will also void the manufacturer's warranty. |

** Printheads are not included in manufacturer or after market warranties so be sure to keep the printer clean by running the corresponding printer's cleaning kit and by following your cleaning kit's instructions. A rule of thumb is to clean it each time you change a ribbon and/ or when you put in a new stack of cards.
